US Warns Iran on Protester Deaths Amid Escalating Tensions
Tehran threatens attacks on US bases and Israel as Washington considers response to anti-government demonstrations.

The United States president has warned that the US would take decisive action if protesters were killed, prompting Iran to threaten attacks on US bases.
Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Tehran's Parliament Speaker, claimed that any American attack would prompt Iran to target both Israel and US military installations across the region.
The US State Department has warned Iran's leadership not to underestimate President Trump's resolve, emphasizing that 'when he says he'll do something, he means it'.
President Donald Trump is set to receive a briefing from senior administration officials on options to respond to the widespread anti-government protests.
The death toll continues to rise. US-based rights group HRANA reports that casualties soared to as high as 466 on Sunday.
