Trump's Board of Peace Announces Gaza Disarmament Agreement
Deal reportedly includes Israeli withdrawal and new Palestinian governance, following October 7, 2023, attacks.

Donald Trump's Board of Peace has announced an agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza, marking a significant development in the region.
Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist militant group and political movement founded in 1987, has governed the Gaza Strip since 2007. This reality was underscored by the October 7, 2023, attack that killed approximately 1,200 people in Israel and resulted in 251 hostages being taken.
Now, Trump asserts his 'Board of Peace' has reached an agreement for the disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza. He hailed this declaration as 'a monumental step toward lasting PEACE and SECURITY.'
This accord, Trump claimed, represents a critical step towards Gaza finally being governed by a new Palestinian government. This new government, he stated, will work closely with the Board of Peace to help its people.
At the same time, Israel will have the security it deserves, with Gaza no longer used as a base for terror attacks.
He further asserted that Israel will achieve the security it deserves. Gaza, he declared, will no longer serve as a base for terror attacks.
The agreement involves a phased implementation, leading to Israeli forces withdrawing from Gaza. These forces will be replaced by an International Stabilization Force and a new Palestinian police force maintaining security.
Trump declared, "This agreement is a critical step towards Gaza finally being governed by a new Palestinian government that will work closely with the Board of Peace to help the Palestinian people." He added, "At the same time, Israel will have the security it deserves, with Gaza no longer used as a base for terror attacks."
As disarmament completes, Israeli forces will withdraw. The International Stabilization Force will then work with a new Palestinian police force.
These forces will take responsibility for Gaza being safe for its residents and its neighbors, Trump stated. He added, "The threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 will NOT be allowed to rebuild!"

He claimed Gaza will finally rest in the hands of a new Palestinian government that serves its people. This marks a major milestone in the implementation of the Trump 20-Point Plan, which also includes a 'Freedom Haulers Initiative.'
Reflecting on the past year, Trump stated, "One year ago there was a violent raging war, humanitarian crisis and hostages kept in brutal captivity." He concluded, "We have made historic progress and there is still much work to do."
Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye mediated the agreement. Trump extended thanks to them and his team for their efforts.
