Russell Brand is on trial at Southwark Crown Court in London.
Laura Brand, his wife, confirmed in court she and Russell Brand rekindled their romance in 2015. They married in 2017 and have three children together.
She knew of Russell Brand's promiscuity when they first met and towards the latter part of 2006. She also claimed he found monogamy difficult.
Heartbroken after their breakup in February 2007, she remained very aware of his promiscuity during their time apart. She read about it regularly in papers and heard about it directly from him.

Laura Brand maintained that Russell Brand "absolutely" respected her sexual wishes when they began dating. She also stated, "I wasn’t interested in having a relationship with him if he was sleeping with other people."
Russell Brand reportedly stated in evidence that consent is 'non-negotiable' and 'more important than sex itself'.
Statements from two of Brand's ex-girlfriends were read to the court. They detailed his character, infidelity, and the financial support they provided him.
