Russell Brand denies seven charges, including three counts of rape, as his trial continues.
One woman informed the Metropolitan Police she willingly engaged in a threesome backstage at a gig, identifying herself as a Brand fan. She agreed to meet Brand at his home for sex days later, stating that after kissing and foreplay, normal penetrative sex began.
During the encounter, the woman repeatedly told Brand to stop.
She testified that she initially struggled with guilt and shame for going to Brand's home willingly.
because you’re dirty and I want to push you further.
The court heard recorded police interviews with another female complainant. She described a consensual sexual encounter at Brand's Hampstead home in 2009 that turned into rape when he forced her into non-consensual anal sex.
The woman claimed the experience left her feeling 'degraded'. Months later, she told Brand he had made her feel 'like a piece of meat'. Brand responded by saying: "because you’re dirty and I want to push you further."
This woman has since spoken to friends, family, and a journalist about the alleged incident. She has also battled alcoholism.
The court also heard that The Sun newspaper named Brand "shagger of the year" three years running.
Brand's driver dropped the woman off at his home, which she described as having 'quite a gothic feel'. She noted black, white, and grey décor, a stag’s skull on the living room wall, and a black-framed full-length mirror in the bedroom. The bed in the bedroom was described as 'huge'.
The woman stated Brand put Quantum Leap on the TV and then left the room. The female complainant also stated, "I think you've pushed me far enough, you treated me like an animal."
