Ukrainian Drone Strikes Hit Russian Warehouses
Logistics hubs near Moscow and St Petersburg damaged as Russia claims widespread drone interceptions.

A Ukrainian drone strike hit a Wildberries warehouse in Russia's Vladimir region.
Smoke choked the air over Chekhov, Moscow Oblast, after a drone strike tore into the Wildberries logistics hub on August 4, 2026. Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed the attack, stating a warehouse in the Novoselki industrial zone took a direct hit.
These attacks claimed six lives and injured nine people; one person also died in the border region of Belgorod.
Emergency services converged on the scene in Tver, though Wildberries reported no workers injured at its Krasny Bor logistics facility.
Ukraine also targeted the Russian cargo ship 'Nadezhda' off the coast of Novorossiysk in the Black Sea, with up to seven drones assaulting the vessel.
Russia's defence ministry stated it intercepted and destroyed 320 drones overnight. Forces shot down nearly 1,200 drones sent by Ukraine on Sunday night.
In Ukraine, Russian attacks killed two children and an elderly woman in Sumy. This escalated the conflict that began with Russia's full-scale offensive in February 2022.
Russia claims 11 people died in an attack on the town of Arkhipo-Osipovka, including three children. A further 40 people sustained injuries in the Arkhipo-Osipovka attack, with 21 requiring hospitalisation.
