President Donald Trump announced Stephen Miller will replace Susie Wiles as chief of staff.
Wiles confirmed Friday marked her final day. She stated, "I’m so proud to have been a part of what we’ve accomplished together from securing our border and cutting taxes to strengthening our economy and putting America First."
Miller assumes the new position on Monday. He previously implemented the administration's mass deportation campaign.
Donald Trump claims Miller will take over Wiles’ role on November 9. This date introduces a discrepancy with the reported Monday start.
