Russian Attacks Kill Six, Ukraine Strikes Deep into Russian Oil Facilities

Russian overnight attacks killed at least six people and injured 36 in Ukraine.
Ukraine claims attacks on the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in Russia's Bashkortostan republic and the Slavneft-YANOS refinery in the Yaroslavl region. These refinery attacks, along with accompanying video, remain unverified.
Ukrainian forces reportedly struck two Russian military patrol boats and vessels from Moscow’s 'shadow fleet' in the Black Sea. Ukraine specifically targeted vessels belonging to Russia's 'shadow fleet'.
Elsewhere, a Russian drone hit a residential area in Zaporizhzhia, wounding four people. The city of Kherson remains without electricity after a critical infrastructure facility sustained a direct hit.
One person died in Odesa when Russia struck two dry cargo ships. Russia's Defence Ministry claimed its air defenses shot down 605 Ukrainian drones overnight across several Russian regions, Crimea, and the Black and Azov seas.
Ukraine's air force, conversely, claims its air defenses shot down or jammed 66 out of 101 long-range strike drones fired by Russia. The UK added 13 new designations and six new specifications to its Russia sanctions regime, including asset freezes, director disqualifications, and transport, shipping, and trade sanctions.
