Russia Unleashes Deadly Overnight Barrage on Kyiv Region

Two of Epicentr’s major logistics hubs sustained direct hits, killing one employee and injuring three others. A direct strike obliterated the production hall of Epicentr’s ceramic tile factory.

The company suspended manufacturing at the site, relocating production abroad.

At the Kvitneva railway station near Kyiv, workers removed white body bags from the platform, transferring them to ambulances. Eight people reportedly died at the station during the aerial attack.

The Russian barrage destroyed storage and logistics facilities, including warehouses and a postal sorting center. The attack also caused an ammonia leak, which emergency crews are now tackling.

Anastasiia Dudley’s house suffered near-total destruction, though she and her mother survived the impact.

Ukraine’s defense ministry stated it shot down 98 of the drones. However, Kyiv’s air defenses reportedly failed to intercept any of the ballistic missiles.

Ukraine has received US-made MIM-104 Patriot air defense systems. Yet, bringing down each incoming ballistic missile requires at least two Patriot interceptor missiles.

Volodymyr Zelensky claimed the attack primarily targeted civilian businesses, warehouses, infrastructure, and a railway station, not military facilities.

Zelensky further asserted that sites hit included a brewing company, building materials depots, and logistics centers with “no connection to the war.”

Serhii Beskrestnov stated, "The enemy is attacking everything indiscriminately — retail warehouses, food storage facilities, logistics hubs, enterprises, building materials warehouses."

Intelligence reports indicate a North Korean missile unit, potentially equipped with 120 ballistic missiles, is deploying to western Russia.

Meanwhile, Ukraine continues its own campaign against Russian economic infrastructure. This includes strikes on warehouses belonging to Wildberries.
