At least six people were shot dead at a church in Jordan on Friday.
Most victims were reportedly aged between 50 and 70. Security forces are actively investigating the attack.
State broadcaster Al-Mamlaka aired footage reportedly showing the moment of the assault. Christians constitute a minority within Jordan's population.
Such attacks are extremely rare in the country, generally considered stable. However, Jordan has faced increased targeting by Iranian attacks this year, following US and Israeli strikes against Iran in February.
An Iranian strike in July reportedly killed three US soldiers in Jordan. A September attack is said to have damaged several American military planes.
In 2016, a separate attack in Karak targeted a security center and police patrols, resulting in multiple deaths. State-owned media claims seven people were killed in Friday's church attack, a figure that conflicts with initial reports of at least six fatalities.
