A Russian soldier carried out a deadly shooting rampage in Russian-occupied Crimea.
The attack in Khmelnytske claimed four lives and left three others injured; authorities have since arrested the perpetrator, a Russian soldier.
Russia has maintained control over Ukraine's Crimean peninsula since 2014. The soldier reportedly opened fire on colleagues, killing one and wounding another.
Medical personnel are providing care to the wounded. Officials claim the motive for the attack remains unclear.
Mikhail Razvozhayev stated that investigators are probing the motive behind the shooting. Local officials have not publicly identified the attacker, nor have they released information regarding their specific branch of the Russian armed forces.
