Hayden Panettiere Dead at 36

Kasey Kitchen confirmed the ongoing investigation into Panettiere's death; law enforcement sources indicated an incident involving the actress was ongoing.

Panettiere had reportedly complained of back pain recently; her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, is understood to have flown from Los Angeles to see her just one day before her passing.

The star and Hickerson, a real estate agent, reportedly flew from Los Angeles to South Carolina, his home state, one day prior to her death.

A source close to the actress claimed their relationship had deteriorated for approximately two years.

Panettiere suffered undiagnosed post-partum depression after Kaya's birth in December 2014.

She claimed her mother's management as a child star contributed to the many demons she faced, including alcohol and opioid addiction.

Panettiere stated her mother was only financially invested in their relationship, recalling her as harsh and critical from a tender age.

She claimed her mother exhibited several levels of anger, described by specific physical manifestations, and once affixed a fake tooth to ensure an audition was not derailed by a lost tooth.

Panettiere also claimed she did 'not have the slightest clue as to how much I was paid' during her childhood career.

She further claimed that Vogel 'groomed' her to be a 'little soldier' when it came to performing, putting pressure on her to succeed.

Her family released a statement: "She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her – and to the millions who watched her onscreen."

Panettiere and Kaya's father, Wladimir Klitschko, met in 2009 and dated on-and-off, becoming engaged in October 2013 and welcoming Kaya in December 2014.
