Model Sydney Towle died yesterday at the age of 26.
Towle had received a diagnosis of stage four cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer impacting the bile ducts. She cultivated a significant online presence, garnering over a million followers on TikTok.
Her public life included a recent appearance at Miami Swim Week, where she modeled for The Chemo Club x Post Swim show. Towle documented her cancer journey, sharing details of chemotherapy treatments and hospital stays.

Her family confirmed her death, stating, "We will always love you so much Sydney. I am so proud of how hard you fought. I love you." Following her death, Towle's mother and brother posted a TikTok video update.
Sydney Towle's family described her as an "endless ray of sunshine." Earlier this week, Towle's family indicated she had entered hospice care.
A doctor had previously advised Sydney Towle to enter hospice; she sought a second opinion and specialists to help her deal with her worsening condition. Towle lived in Los Angeles in 2023, having graduated from Dartmouth College.
