Paris Wilson, 35, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for attempted kidnapping and manslaughter in connection with the death of her ex-husband, Danny Cahalane.
Wilson orchestrated a hit on fitness instructor Danny Cahalane while he slept, feeding crucial intelligence to Ryan Kennedy. Cahalane had gambled away Kennedy's substantial £120,000.
Ryan Kennedy, known as Frost, operates as a significant drug kingpin; Danny Cahalane owed him approximately £120,000.
Kennedy set out to exact his revenge when Cahalane failed to hand over the £120,000 from drugs sold on his behalf.
Before his death, Danny Cahalane told police he believed his drugs 'boss', nicknamed Frost, had ordered the fatal attack. Jo Martin KC reiterated this claim.
Kennedy dispatched a hit squad from London, sending them to Plymouth in Devon to 'take him out'.
Ms Justice Heather Norton stated that Wilson devised the plan to entrap Danny Cahalane and coordinated directly with Ryan Kennedy.
Wilson also used contact arrangements with her daughter to set up Danny Cahalane for an attempted kidnap a month earlier.
The prosecution claims Wilson demonstrated a 'high degree of planning' in the abduction of her ex-partner.
Prosecutors also claim Wilson knew 'exactly what was going to happen' on the night Cahalane was attacked.
The jury heard that Frost had offered Wilson 'a few grand' in exchange for information regarding her ex-partner's whereabouts.
The prosecution claims Wilson was happy to betray her ex-husband for a few thousand pounds and a holiday in Turkey. Jo Martin KC stated, 'Paris Wilson was seemingly happy to give up all that information on the understanding Frost would make her wealthy.'

I hope you and your butters girl both end up with acid in your faces.

Wilson herself once stated, 'I hope you and your butters girl both end up with acid in your faces.'
Reflecting on her past words, Wilson later remarked, 'Sounds declasse now, doesn't it? That was me just angry with him, but now, obviously, in hindsight, f*ing hell that's not good is it?'
The prosecution claims Wilson knew that acid could be used in the attack because of the failure to pay for drugs.
Ms Justice Norton confirmed that Wilson was happy to associate with drug dealers and provide assistance to them. She stated, 'Whilst you yourself did not deal drugs, from evidence placed before the jury and messages to your mother, you were clearly happy to associate and provide assistance to those who do.'
Ms Justice Norton further elaborated, 'That assistance provided details to Frost of Danny Cahalane’s whereabouts thereby allowing the attack to take place.'
Beyond the immediate perpetrators, Isanah Sungum, Jean Mukuna, Arrone Mukuna, and Jude Hill were previously jailed for various drug and kidnapping-related offenses.
Jean Mukuna received 52 months for attempted kidnap and drug supply. Jude Hill received 32 months for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Gudrun Young KC noted that Ramarnee Bakas-Sithole was acting 'under the direction and control of Frost, an older man and an influential and powerful drug dealer in this world.'

Danny was loved and he will always be missed, this just didn’t take Danny’s life, it took part of all our lives too.

Tony Bleach
Tony Bleach, a family member, expressed the profound loss. He stated, 'Danny was loved and he will always be missed, this just didn’t take Danny’s life, it took part of all our lives too.'
Jennifer Knight KC, representing Wilson, described her as 'an immensely hard-working, positive and pro-active person.'
