Thomas Markle Snr Arrested in Florida
Arrest follows discovery of alleged child sex abuse material in the Philippines and Mexico.

Thomas Markle Snr, 82, was arrested in Lakeland, Florida.
The raid occurred in Rosarito, Mexico, targeting a unit rented by Markle Snr. This action follows claims that he allegedly kept a collection of indecent images of children at his former home in the Philippines.
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, previously asserted that child sexual abuse images were discovered at her father’s former residence. She also stated that a letter containing “troubling allegations” about him had been sent to London police in 2018.
Jonvic Remulla indicated that Thomas Markle Jnr as a "person of interest" in the ongoing investigation. He clarified that Jnr is not currently a suspect.
The Metropolitan Police received this letter seven years ago, detailing the allegations against Thomas Markle. Now, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) investigates the Metropolitan Police's handling of these claims.
Jonvic Remulla, the Philippines' interior and local government secretary, identified Thomas Markle Jnr as a "person of interest" in the ongoing investigation. He clarified that Jnr is not currently a suspect. Thomas Markle Snr vehemently dismisses all allegations as "sick lies."
