A prison nurse has pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office.
Stephanie Adair, 29, admitted the charge at Kingston Crown Court, her confession stemming from a relationship with inmate Jakhi Crosdale.
This relationship unfolded at HMP Wandsworth between September 2023 and November 2024.
Crosdale, 28, previously convicted of manslaughter, also pleaded guilty to the unauthorized transmission of image or sound by electronic communication.
His electronic communication offenses originated from within HMP Wandsworth and HMP Lowdham Grange.
Adair reportedly maintained an 'inappropriate personal relationship' with the convicted killer.
Claims of their relationship surfaced after Crosdale reportedly included her address on court documents.
England's worst jail
Crosdale was jailed in 2018 for drug supply offenses.
Adair faced a temporary ban from working in prisons, imposed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
HMP Wandsworth was described as 'England's worst jail' by the Howard League for Penal Reform in August 2024.
