Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly moving back to the UK with their children.
Prince William reportedly opposes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returning as working members of the royal family. Prince William and Prince Harry have maintained physical and emotional distance for six years.
Prince William will prioritize his public work and upcoming projects, including the Earthshot Prize in Mumbai and a mental health initiative. Prince George is set to start senior school at Eton College in September.
William has supported his wife through cancer treatment; his father, King Charles III, has also battled cancer since its discovery in 2024.
Separately, a government committee refused to authorize police protection for Harry and his family when they are in the U.K.
Harry previously published a memoir titled "Spare" and has been involved in legal battles with British tabloid newspapers.
Royal sources indicate the couple are expected to remain in the UK for an “extended period of time.”
