London Mayor Sadiq Khan claims personal robbery rates fall in London, attributing this to investment in police numbers. This investment reportedly resulted in a 50 per cent reduction in personal robbery and a 25 per cent reduction in personal theft.
However, crime soared in London since Sadiq Khan came into power. Other incidents include Mourad Aid jailed for stealing a suitcase from Jenson Button's wife Brittny in 2025, and Zacariah Boulares stealing Genevieve Chennour's phone in 2025.
Boulares also threatened to behead Aled Jones while stealing his Rolex.
