Woman Arrested After Covent Garden Incident Leaves Four Injured
Police believe the attack, involving a suspected offensive weapon, was an isolated mental health incident.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested in Covent Garden on Wednesday following an incident that left four men injured.
Police lifted the cordon around the incident area by 3:30 PM, concluding an extensive emergency response.
Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart confirmed officers responded within minutes, stating, "Officers responded within minutes of this incident after receiving a number of reports."

Arjan Gjorga claimed the victims were random people walking by; he asserted the woman simply started stabbing them.
The attack involved small scissors, with a pair recovered at the scene.
Witnesses claimed the arrested woman was homeless and regularly seen in Endell Street and the surrounding area.
A barber attempted to restrain the female suspect from attacking more individuals.
One victim entered a shop, stating he had been stabbed.
Another witness claimed police disarmed the woman while she was using a vape.
Matt Bishop, a witness, did not see the stabbing but observed the woman running towards the crossroads.
Bishop noted, "She didn’t seem to be particularly coherent. She was pretty incoherent in what she was shouting, the officer was asking what language she was shouting."

The spokesman added, "We are working closely with emergency services to ensure that all of the people we support, in addition to our colleagues, are safe and accounted for."
Despite police assurances of an isolated incident, claims persist that the victims were random individuals targeted without provocation.
