Murder Charge Filed in Cricklade Traveller Site Shooting
Shane Porter, 35, faces charges following the fatal shooting of Jimmy Ward, with two others remanded in custody.

Jimmy Ward, 36, was shot dead at a traveller site near Cricklade, Wiltshire.
Shane Porter, 35, stands charged with murder and possession of a shotgun without a certificate. Authorities arrested Porter on August 4.
Porter, alongside Eddie Porter and Tammy Brown, has been remanded into custody. All three are scheduled for a court appearance.
Two other men, previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have since been released on bail.
A cordon remains in place at the traveler site, where an increased policing presence is visible.

Walker added, "My thoughts continue to be with Jimmy’s next of kin at this difficult time."
He expressed gratitude, stating, "I’d like to express again my thanks to the local community for their patience and support since Sunday."
