Met Police Seize £8 Million in Supercars After London Meet-Up
Operation targets uninsured drivers and anti-social behaviour, confiscating a rare £3.7 million Ferrari Monza SP2.

Met Police seized over £8 million worth of vehicles following a supercar meet-up in London.
The Ferrari Monza SP2 driver held only a provisional license and lacked insurance, reportedly having been at the wheel for fewer than 30 minutes when pulled over. Met officers seized the vehicle, which had reportedly only been in the UK for a day, for driving without insurance and not in accordance with a license.
The three-day operation, running from Friday through Sunday, involved 120 officers and focused on Hyde Park, Kensington, and Chelsea. Fifteen vehicles were seized under new powers allowing immediate confiscation for anti-social behavior; the volume and total value of cars confiscated reportedly mark the highest in the operation's five-year history.
Seized vehicles were taken to Wellington Arch before storage. Beyond vehicle offenses, officers detected other criminal activities during the operation, including possession of multiple bank cards, large sums of cash, and drug offenses.
A man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and money laundering. Two further arrests were made for harassment, alarm, or distress, and an immigration offense.
