Man Charged with Murder After Fatal London Stabbing

A 48-year-old man faces murder charges after a woman was fatally stabbed on a London street.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing at 8:19 am on Tuesday, August 18, at an address on Askew Road, Shepherd’s Bush; officers and the London Ambulance Service found two women with stab wounds.
Samantha Turner, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene; a 32-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.
Alan Dore, 48, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder; he has since been charged with both murder and attempted murder.
The Metropolitan Police launched a murder probe following Samantha Turner's death; police believe this to be an isolated incident within a residential address.

Dore, of Shepherd’s Bush, is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 20.
