Jed York Arrested in Ohio Prostitution Investigation

York pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct charge, an amendment to the original prostitution charge.

He was convicted of possessing criminal tools, receiving a one-day jail sentence served concurrently for both charges; the arrest report does not specify the criminal tools in York’s case.

The Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force will receive $160, seized and forfeited as part of the agreement.

York was released after posting a $5,000 bond; the arrest is understood to have occurred at a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio.

Court documents allege York arranged sexual activity for $140 after contacting a woman through an advertisement on a prostitution website.

York was reportedly greeted by law enforcement upon arrival at the arranged location, where an agent with the Mahoning Valley human trafficking task force found his cellular device, used to arrange the criminal act, in his possession.

The NFL stated, "We are aware of the matter which will be reviewed under the personal conduct policy."

The 49ers confirmed they would not provide further comment, stating, "As this is a legal matter, which has been resolved, we will not be providing any further comment at this time."

York completed an online course following the conviction.

Under York's leadership, the 49ers have made the Super Bowl three times and moved to Levi's Stadium in 2014.

York also owns stakes in Leeds United and Rangers through 49ers Enterprises.

Jed York is married to Danielle Belluomini; they have two sons.

This incident draws comparisons to Eddie DeBartolo, who pleaded guilty in 1998 to failing to report a felony and was pardoned by President Donald Trump in February 2020.
