Hull City secured a decisive victory over Manchester United on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
Hull City exploited a critical weakness in Manchester United's set-piece defending, head coach Sergej Jakirovic confirmed. Konstantinos Tzolakis, Hull's new Greek international goalkeeper, delivered a solid performance, anchoring the defense with authority.
Manchester United maintained the majority of possession but generated minimal threat throughout the match. Captain Bruno Fernandes led the side, which saw several second-half substitutions, including Marcus Rashford, Benjamin Sesko, and Kobbie Mainoo, introduced to shift momentum.
