A small plane carrying four people crashed into shallow waters next to Seldovia, Alaska on Wednesday.
Troopers recovered the bodies of four adult passengers from the crash site; the medical examiner's office will receive the bodies, with names withheld pending next of kin notification.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the crash; officials have not yet determined the cause of the Piper PA-24's descent.
