Four Dead After Small Plane Crashes Near Seldovia, Alaska
NTSB investigates Piper PA-24 incident as bodies of adult passengers are recovered from shallow waters.

A small plane carrying four people crashed into shallow waters next to Seldovia, Alaska on Wednesday.
Troopers recovered four adult passengers from the Piper PA-24, a plane bound for Seldovia from Anchorage.
The bodies are now with the medical examiner's office; names will remain unreleased until next of kin are notified.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the crash's cause.
Authorities have not yet determined what caused the Piper PA-24 to crash, according to the Alaska Department of Public Safety and other officials.
These tragedies are heartbreaking and unacceptable, which is why aviation safety and infrastructure in Alaska continue to be a top focus of mine.
Separately, two civilian employees were reportedly among the eight killed in another crash, as confirmed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
