The United Kingdom faces a significant heatwave at the start of August, with weather models indicating potential highs of 41C across eastern England.
The Met Office forecasts potentially very warm conditions for August, indicating another heatwave looms.

Temperatures will ease into the twenties on August 2 for much of the nation, though the South East will still see highs of 31C.
On August 3, Essex expects to reach 30C, and the Midlands will experience 28C and 29C.
The GFS weather model shows staggering highs of 41C in the east of England, from Sussex up to Lincolnshire, including London, potentially seeing 40C on August 1.
The GFS model also indicates highs of 38C in the Midlands on August 1 and 37C in Yorkshire on the same day.
Parts of Wales, close to the border with England, could see 31C or 32C on August 1, according to the GFS weather model.
Further data from WX Charts radar charts shows a blistering 32C furnace sweeping in from Europe, set to hit Britain at midday before ramping up to extreme levels by 6pm.
Specifically, WX Charts indicates it will hit 32C in London, Ipswich, and Norwich by 6pm, with Cambridge, Northampton, Guildford, Peterborough, and Luton all seeing 31C.
