Sword Attack Injures Several at Swedish High School

Several people sustained injuries in a sword attack at a high school in Fagersta, Sweden.
Officers responded to reports of ongoing violence at the school shortly after 14:00 local time on Friday. Police reportedly shot the suspect in the leg during apprehension.
Following the incident, several nearby schools locked down, and roadblocks swiftly went up. The Fagersta municipality in central Sweden confirmed the incident, establishing a crisis center in a sports hall near the school.
We do not yet know what lies behind the act, but we know that the police are working very intensively.
Police remain at the scene, urging the public to respect their instructions. They state there is currently no danger to the public.
The government maintains close contact with the police; Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer confirmed direct communication following the attack.
