Actor Noel Clarke pleaded not guilty to sex offences against five women.
Clarke faces two counts of sexual assault, three of voyeurism, and one of exposure. These alleged offenses occurred between 2007 and 2016 in London and Dorset.
The Crown Prosecution Service decided to prosecute Clarke on these counts, Bethan David confirmed. This follows allegations made by five women in connection to sexual misconduct during that period.
Prosecutors worked to establish sufficient evidence to bring the case to court, David stated. Clarke received conditional bail and will appear next at Southwark Crown Court on 18 November.
Anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to contact police.
The women connected to these charges continue to receive support from specially trained officers, Mike Cagney confirmed. Cagney urged anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to contact police.
The investigation into these charges began in September 2025. Clarke, who played Mickey Smith in Doctor Who between 2005 and 2010, was declared bankrupt last December.
His career collapsed in 2021 following accusations that emerged from an investigation, which published accounts from interviews with several women he worked with. Clarke pursued a 'far-fetched' and 'false case' against the reporting of these allegations.
