Murder Inquiry Launched After Woman Found Dead in Liverpool Hotel
Police investigate unexplained death at The White Star Line Hotel; three arrested and bailed as toxicology reports are awaited.

A woman was found dead at The White Star Line Hotel on James Street in Liverpool.
Police converged on a hotel shortly after 3:20 am on Saturday, August 1, responding to reports of a woman's sudden illness. The North West Ambulance Service initially reported a 40-year-old woman had fallen ill, prompting the emergency response.
Merseyside Police are treating the woman's death as unexplained. A 47-year-old man from Kirkby and a 34-year-old woman from Liverpool have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
All three individuals taken into custody have since received conditional bail as inquiries continue. Two police forensic vans were observed outside the hotel on Monday evening.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out. The results of toxicology reports remain pending.
