Multiple Fatalities Confirmed in Caswell County Mass Shooting

A mass shooting in a secluded North Carolina neighbourhood has resulted in multiple deaths.
The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed multiple fatalities; one person was rushed to Duke University Hospital with a gunshot wound.
No information about the total number of victims, injuries, or any arrests has been released.
Local authorities responded to reports of the mass shooting at approximately 8:30 AM local time on August 5.
Deputies arriving on scene discovered multiple individuals who had been shot, according to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and the State Bureau of Investigation have all maintained a presence at the scene.
Activity appears centered around a single property on Brooks Road.
Footage shows a two-story home surrounded by police tape and numerous emergency vehicles.
The SBI stated the event was “contained” to the address where it occurred.
There is NO THREAT to the general public, and the event is contained to the above address.
Caswell County Sheriff Tony Durden claims investigators believe the incident was isolated.
The SBI reiterated, "There is NO THREAT to the general public, and the event is contained to the above address."
