A father and daughter from Doncaster died after being swept away at Fistral Beach.
Post-mortem examinations at the Royal Cornwall Hospital confirmed drowning as the cause of death for both individuals.
An inquest into these deaths will commence; Emma Hillson stated, "Given the reported circumstances of the death, and the provisional cause of death, I have reason to suspect the death may be as a result of an unnatural cause."

Hillson further confirmed, "I am going to adjourn for a provisional full hearing date of July 19 2027 at 10am, with a time estimate of three hours. This will be a joint inquest."
Samantha Collins was pulled into the sea while fishing on rocks with her father.
Devon and Cornwall Police issued an appeal for information regarding an orange or peach-coloured handbag belonging to Ms Collins, believed to have entered the water with her.
A police spokeswoman stated the handbag is thought to contain a number of personal items.
The Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson added, "At what is an incredibly difficult time for the family, they would take great comfort in being reunited with these belongings if possible."
