Anthony Williams, 33, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of wounding with intent and two of attempting to wound with intent.
Williams admitted possessing a bladed article at Pontoon Dock DLR station in London during the early hours of November 1. He further confessed to affray at a Peterborough barber shop on October 31 and stealing knives from an Asda store in Stevenage on the same day.
The admitted offenses extend to an assault occasioning actual bodily harm of a male police officer on November 2. He also confessed to common assault on a Govia Thames Link train between London St Pancras and Biggleswade in Bedfordshire on November 1.
Despite these admissions, Williams denies 14 counts of attempted murder. The prosecution claims the case centers on the stabbing of multiple passengers aboard an LNER service traveling from Doncaster to London King's Cross on November 1 last year.
Williams denies 10 attempted murder charges linked to that LNER train incident. He also denies the attempted murder of a man reportedly attacked with a knife at Pontoon Dock DLR station, as well as charges relating to three alleged victims in Peterborough on October 31.
The trial is scheduled to last five weeks. Sentencing will occur after its conclusion, with Williams remaining in custody awaiting these proceedings.
