The National Lottery's Powerball game has officially launched in Britain this week, marking the first time the American jackpot sensation has extended its reach beyond the United States.
This expansion follows a strategic agreement forged in April between the Multi-State Lottery Association and Allwyn UK.
The arrangement directly links British players to massive US Powerball draws, creating unprecedented jackpot opportunities.
Drawings occur three times weekly from the Powerball studio in Florida, taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Players have until 11:55 pm on Wednesday to secure a ticket for the upcoming draw, which commences around 4 am UK time on Thursday.
The inaugural game presents a formidable jackpot, currently standing at £300 million.
Any winners receive their payout over a 30-year period.
