Man Jailed for Breaching Restraining Order with AI Images of Billie Piper
Philip Jerome received a 12-month sentence for posting AI-generated images of the actor on social media, continuing an eight-year attempt to contact her.

Philip Jerome was jailed for 12 months for breaching a restraining order.
The Hampshire court established Jerome pursued contact with Piper for over eight years, driven by a sexual interest in the singer and actor, hoping for a relationship.
Jerome previously visited Ms Piper's home and approached her at a Comicon event; these actions preceded the social media breaches.
The court also confirmed Jerome breached the restraining order within months of its imposition, sending messages on Facebook to the star’s mother and sister, expressing a wish for them to meet up.
His phone reportedly contained posts tagged on X that featured AI-generated images and sexualized comments.
Caroline Bonavia, representing Jerome, asserted his latest posts were not of an 'unpleasant nature' and were mostly repeats of the same content.
Bonavia further claimed the offenses involved finding images of Ms Piper's head from public sources, posting them on his X account, and tagging her.
District Judge Kirsty Allman stated, You demonstrated an entrenched pattern of stalking and harassment offenses, and failing to comply with court orders.
Ms Bonavia argued, "Were it not for the order, these (offenses) would be very similar to what a keen fan would post about a public figure."
She added, "The difference for him is that he must not do this and he accepts it."
He needs to learn that fan or not, even this sort of posting is not permitted.
Piper’s X account is managed by her personal assistant, who reportedly shields her from critical posts and does not generally inform Ms Piper of such content due to its negative nature.
Caroline Bonavia concluded, "He needs to learn that fan or not, even this sort of posting is not permitted."
