Boy George reportedly warned he would fire any band members refusing to perform the song, threatening their positions; he subsequently faced the removal of his profile from Bandcamp, where 'We Will Dance Again' was available.

Boy George stated his ear monitors kept getting louder until he had to end the performance, further claiming the first song was a 'car crash,' which he found unusual given the sound had been set earlier in the day.
